We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution issued by Royal Decree 110/2000,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following paragraph is hereby added to the mentioned Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution:

This schedule applies to Omanis only. As for non-Omanis, the provisions of the contracts signed with them apply to their salaries, allowances, stipends, and all other financial transactions.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of entry into force of the mentioned Royal Decree 110/2000.

and the Tampere Convention on the Provision of Telecommunication Resources for Disaster Mitigation and Relief Operations,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Tampere Convention on the Provision of Telecommunication Resources for Disaster Mitigation and Relief Operations is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Articles of Association of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates issued by Royal Decree 4/93,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A new paragraph is hereby added to article 3(c) of the Articles of Association of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates, the text of which is as follows:

The establishment may grant a usufruct right to Omani persons—natural or legal—to a part of these lands to establish residences for workers in the industrial zone. It is not permitted to allocate these residences for a purpose other than the mentioned purpose.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 47/92 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Health,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The name “Directorate General of Warehouses” in the Ministry of Health is hereby replaced with the name “Directorate General of Medical Supplies”.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Convention of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference on Combating International Terrorism, which was approved by the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers in its twenty-sixth session (Peace and Partnership for Development Session) held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from 15 to 18 Rabi Al-Awwal 1420, corresponding to 28 June to 1 July 1999, and signed by the Sultanate on 3 December 2001, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned convention is hereby ratified.

Article II

The mentioned Protocol on the Control of Marine Transboundary Movements and Disposal of Hazardous Wastes and Other Wastes is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
