We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 35/90 Issuing the Police Law,

and the approved Organisational Structure of the Royal Oman Police,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Royal Oman Police approved by Us hereby applies from 2 November 1991.

Article II

The phrase “Deputy Inspectors General of Police and Customs” is hereby amended wherever it appears to read as “Assistant Inspectors General of Police and Customs”.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,

and the constitutive contract and articles of association of Oman National Insurance Company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following are hereby appointed members representing the share of the Government of the Sultanate in the board of directors of the mentioned Oman National Insurance Company:

– The Commercial Advisor to the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

– The Director General of Commerce.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the documents of the Universal Postal Union Congress held in Washington in 1989,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The documents of the mentioned Universal Postal Union Congress held in Washington in 1989 are hereby ratified in regard to the following matters:

1. The Constitution of the Universal Postal Union as amended by the Additional Protocols of Tokyo 1969, Lausanne 1974, Hamburg 1984, and Washington 1989, and its Fourth Additional Protocol.

2. The General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union and the Internal Regulation of Conferences annexed to it.

3. Universal Postal Convention and its Final Protocol.

4. Postal Parcel Agreement and Its Final Protocol.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
