We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 3/83 Issuing the Law Governing Omani Nationality,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Amna bint Abdulrahman bin Al-Majthoub is hereby granted Omani nationality.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to Hajer bint Ali bin Sulaiman.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 80/85 Amending the Law Governing the Capital Municipality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 77/84 Issuing the Law Governing the Capital Municipality,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Article 7 of the mentioned Law Governing the Capital Municipality is hereby amended to read as follows:

The municipal council consists of the chairman of the municipality and twenty-four members, of whom:

Nine members representing government agencies selected by the heads of their units who hold at least the rank of director general.

Fifteen members representing all cities and neighbourhoods within the boundaries of the municipality.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Salim bin Ismail bin Ali Al-Suwaid—Our ambassador to the Republic of Italy—is hereby transferred and appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tunisia.

Article 2

Ambassador Mohammed bin Said bin Salim Al-Marhoon—Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia—is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article 3

Ambassador Mushtaq bin Abdullah bin Jaafar—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article 4

Article 1

Ambassador Abdullah bin Ali bin Abdullah Al-Najjar—Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tanzania.

Article 2

Ambassador Ali bin Salim bin Bader Al-Hinai—Our ambassador to the United States of America—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Argentina.

Article 3

Ambassador Hussain bin Mohammed bin Ali—Our ambassador to the United Kingdom—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of Raysut Cement Company as representatives for the share of the Government of the Sultanate:
