We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the initialled Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of South Korea for Air Services Between and Beyond Their Respective Territories,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Minister of Transport is hereby authorised to sign on Our behalf the mentioned Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of South Korea for Air Services Between and Beyond Their Respective Territories.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74,

and the resolutions of the extraordinary general meeting of Shams Farms Oman Company held in the sessions of 22 July 1981 and 14 November 1981 to amend the articles of association of the company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Board of Directors of Shams Farms Oman Company is hereby recomposed as follows:

(a) Ali Mohammed Moosa as chairman of the board of directors.

(b) Two members from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, selected and appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.

(c) A member from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries based on the nomination of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

(d) A member from the Directorate General of Finance, appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries based on the nomination of the Deputy Head of the Financial Affairs Council.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 83/81 Authorising the Minister of Commerce and Industry to Sign on Our behalf the draft Agreement on Trade, Economic, and Technical Co-operation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Australia,

and the texts of the mentioned agreement signed in Canberra on 20 October 1981,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Agreement on Trade, Economic and Technical Co-operation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Australia is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Certificates, and Degrees of Higher Education in Arab States, done in Paris on 22 Muharram 1399 corresponding to 22 December 1978,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Certificates, and Degrees of Higher Education in Arab States is hereby approved.

Article 2

Competent government entities shall deposit the instruments of accession with the Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
