We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 12 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Counsellor Ahmed Hamoud Al-Maamari is hereby promoted to the grade of Minister Plenipotentiary.

Counsellor Qasim Abdulrasoul Al-Jamali is hereby promoted to the grade of Minister Plenipotentiary.

Article II

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 1 July 1979 and must be published in the Official Gazette.

and the Treaty Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Capital Investments signed on 25 June 1979,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Treaty Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Capital Investments signed on 25 June 1979 is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Hilal bin Saud bin Harib, Advisor for Tribal Affairs at the Ministry of Diwan of Royal Court Affairs, is hereby transferred to the Southern Region and appointed as Wali over it.

Article 2

All relevant entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandates.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the outcome of the proposal made by the board of governors on 10 August 1975 to determine the terms of membership of the members of the board in accordance with the mentioned Banking Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The membership of Mahmoud Mohammed Murad in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 15 June 1979.

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals mentioned in article 1 of the mentioned Decree 45/75 is hereby replaced by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries as Chairman of the Water Resources Council.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Abdullah Ahmed Al-Ghazali is hereby transferred from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance and must be published in the Official Gazette.
