We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of article 10 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Nizar Mohammed Ali, Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Syrian Arab Republic.
Article 2
Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance, and must be published in the Official Gazette.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Cluff Oil Limited signed on 16 September 1978 between the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals representing the Sultanate and the mentioned company.
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The mentioned Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Cluff Oil Limited is hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75, and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 20/1977 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of National Heritage,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Technical Affairs” is hereby established at the Ministry of National Heritage.
Article 2
The Directorate General of Technical Affairs consists of the following:
(a) The Directorate of Omani Manuscripts and Literature
(b) The Directorate of Antiquities
(c) The Directorate of Museums
(d) The Directorate of Historic Forts and Castles
(f) The Directorate of National Crafts
In accordance with the organisational structure attached to this decree.
Article 3
All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
