We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Sayyid Salim bin Nasser Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Advisor to the State. His powers are limited to the matters assigned to him by His Majesty the Sultan.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

Abdullah bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qatabi is hereby appointed Chairman of the State Consultative Council.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force as of 1 January 1988.
