Royal Decree 84/2011 Promulgating the Law of the Official Gazette

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law of the Official Gazette 4/1973,

Royal Decree 114/94 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Legal Affairs,

and the Financial Law promulgated by Royal Decree 47/98,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached law shall apply in regard to the Official Gazette.

Article II

The aforementioned Official Gazette Law 4/1973 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached law or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 83/2011 Amending Some Provisions of the Articles of Association of the Oman Charitable Organisation

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 6/96 Establishing the Oman Charitable Organisation,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments are hereby made to the Articles of Association of the Oman Charitable Organisation attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 6/96.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached amendments, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance

Royal Decree 80/2011 Establishing Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Natural Landscape Reserve

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Nature Reserves and Wildlife Conservation Law promulgated by Royal Decree 6/2003,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as  follows

Article I

A nature reserve named “Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Landscape Reserve” is hereby established and the area, the dimensions of which are specified in the attached annex and map, is hereby designated to it.

Article II

The Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs shall issue the regulations and decisions implementing this decree in coordination with the ministries and competent entities, provided that they include the method of managing the reserve, the rules governing its entry and the fees prescribed for it, the timing of visits, the activities allowed to be practised and those that are prohibited to be carried out, and the appropriate penalties in each case.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

have decreed as follows

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

the Telecommunications Law promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2002,

The provisions of the attached Cybercrime Law shall apply.

Article II

Chapter two(bis) of book seven of the aforementioned Omani Penal Law is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached law or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
