We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75 and Royal Decree 13/76 amending it,

after perusal of the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict signed at The Hague (Netherlands) on 14 May 1954,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

We hereby declare the accession of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict signed at The Hague (Netherlands) on 14 May 1954.

Article 2

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is hereby authorised, on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, to issue the instrument of accession in accordance with the procedure stipulated in the mentioned convention.

Article 3

The Government of the Sultanate of Oman must faithfully implement the provisions of this convention from the date of its entry into force for the Sultanate.

Article 4

The competent entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandate, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 13/76 amending it,

and Royal Decree 44/76 Regarding the Support of Omani Bosoor Production,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The process for purchasing bosoor is hereby assigned to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry starting from the 1977 harvest, and the financial subsidy to be disbursed to producers of bosoor, determined at fifty Rial Omani per bahar (800 kilograms), hereby remains in effect.

Article 2

The Minister of the Affairs of Our Diwan is hereby authorised to decide what should be done with regard to agreements previously concluded in relation to bosoor by any government entity up to the date of this decree.

Article 3

The Directorate General of Finance shall pay the amounts required for the purchase and marketing of bosoor in accordance with the estimated budget submitted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and shall also finance the construction of suitable warehouses for their storage.

Article 4

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals shall cooperate with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to find appropriate solutions for the industrial utilisation of bosoor.

Article 5

The mentioned Royal Decree 44/76 is hereby repealed.

Article 6

The competent entities shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of the Banking Law of 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The authorised capital of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby increased to five million Rial Omani, provided that the paid-up capital is set at five million Rial Omani.

Article 2

The following paragraph is hereby added to the end of the text of Article 2.03(3) of the mentioned Banking Law of 1974.

The capital of the Central Bank may be increased by transferring this increase from the general reserve of the bank to the capital.

Article 3

All relevant entities shall implement this decree.

Article 4

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

the Omani Banking Law 7/1974, and in particular article 2(6)(1) of it,

Royal Decree 25/1975 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and the outcome of the ballot made by the board of governors on 10 August 1975 to determine the terms of membership of the members of the board in accordance with the mentioned Banking Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The membership of each of the following members in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for the period and starting from the date indicated next to each name as follows:

Mohammed Moosa	Starting from 15 June 1976 for a period of five years
Mr MG Brown	Starting from 15 June 1976 for a period of five years or the duration of his employment contract, whichever is earlier.
Ali Sultan	Starting from 15 June 1977 for a period of five years

Article 2
