We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Nizar Mohammed Ali—Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The Minister of Commerce and Industry is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Agreement on Economic and Industrial Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the French Republic.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The signature of the representative of the Sultanate on the mentioned Agreement of the Arab Telecommunications Union is hereby approved.

Article 2

The mentioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Mohammed Nasser Al-Alawi is hereby appointed Secretary-General for Conference Affairs in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs, with his current financial grade, entitlements, and remuneration, transferred from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Article 2

All government entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandate.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
