Royal Decree 53/80 Appointing a Deputy Head of the Diwan of Protocol in the South

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 46/80 on the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Protocol,

and Royal Decree 47/80 Issuing the Law Concerning the Statute of the Officers of the Diwan of Protocol,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Sayyid Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Harib is hereby appointed Deputy Head of the Diwan of Protocol in the South, in accordance with the schedule of grades and salaries attached to the mentioned Royal Decree 47/80.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 1 July 1980.

Royal Decree

Royal Decree 55/80 Ratifying the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling signed in Washington on 2 December 1946, the Protocol signed in Washington on 19 November 1956, and the Schedule dated April 1979 as amended by the London meeting in July 1979 and both attached to it,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned International Whaling Convention and the protocol and schedule attached to it is hereby ratified.

Article 2

The competent entities shall implement this agreement, and it shall become effective for the Sultanate of Oman from the date of the notification of accession in accordance with the provisions of article X of the mentioned convention.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 54/80 Authorising the Minister of Transport to Sign the Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India for Air Services Between Them

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the initialled Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India on 7 February 1973 on Air Services Between Them,

and the Convention on International Civil Aviation signed at Chicago on 7 December 1944,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Minister of Transport is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India for Air Services Between Them.
