We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of article 12 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and on the basis of matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Mr Mohammed Hassan Ali is hereby promoted to the grade of Minister Plenipotentiary at the Foreign Ministry.
Article 2
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 1 July 1976 and must be published in the Official Gazette.

Article 1
Ambassador Ahmed Hamoud Al-Harthy is hereby transferred from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kenya.
Article 2
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 1 August 1976 and must be published in the Official Gazette.

after perusal of article 3 of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75 and Law 13/76 amending it,
and after perusal of the Media and Cultural Protocol Between Our Sultanate and the Yemen Arab Republic signed on 21 Rabi Al-Thani 1396, corresponding to 21 April 1976,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The Media and Cultural Protocol Between the Yemen Arab Republic and the Sultanate of Oman is hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and is considered in force as of the date of its publication.

after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75, and Decree 13/76 amending it, and in particular articles 2, 18, and 19 of it,
in view of the matters presented to Us by the Minister of Public Works,
and in view of the technical responsibilities of that ministry,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Technical Affairs” is hereby established at the Ministry of Public Works.
Article 2
All concerned parties, each within their mandates, shall implement this decree on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
